Book a Private Jet to Innsbruck Airport

Innsbruck Airport is the third-largest airport in Austria after Vienna and Salzburg. Both commercial airlines and charter flights land and arrive at the airport. At a distance of less than five kilometres to the city centre, Innsbruck Kranebitten Airport is very centrally located and ideal for city breaks and business commitments. For tight deadlines and busy schedules, the short distance from the airport to the city makes life a lot easier. Whether for business or pleasure, charter a private jet to Innsbruck and make the most of this charming Austrian city.

Innsbruck Airport (INN): History

The first Innsbruck Airport was first built in 1925 in Reichenau, a district east of the city. In 1946, city authorities decided to build a new airport in the western part of the city, in the district of Höttinger Au near Kranebitten. The new airport – which is still in operation today – opened in 1948 under the name Innsbruck Kranebitten Airport.

In order to service an ever-growing volume of passengers, Innsbruck Airport has been expanded several times. A new tower, an entire terminal, a new arrival and departure hall, car park, and an airport restaurant are just a few of the many improvements Innsbruck Airport has undergone over the years. These improvements have added to an already excellent range of services available to both commercial airliner passengers and to those travelling on charter flights to and from Innsbruck.
